Do not install the gauge by turning the case, use square flats provided on socket.

Never mount the gauge without isolation valve.

Set the gauge on a rigid support to protect it from vibrations.

Use a dampener for pulsating pressure applications.

Do not subject the gauge to more than 75% of maximum range for steady pressure and for fluctuating pressure not more than 60%.

Protect the gauge from excessive direct temperatures.

For steam application use gauges with syphon.
